Raw meal is fed into rotary lime kiln cylinder from the tail of the kiln tube end. Because the inclined kiln and slowly rotating, so the material to produce a rolling composite motion along the circumferential direction, and along the axial direction from the high-end to low-end mobile, raw material in the kiln through decomposition, sintering process, sintering cement clinker from low-end kiln discharge, into the cooling machine.

The fuel spray from rotary lime kiln head into, burning in rotary lime kiln, heat the material issued, the calcine raw material into the clinker, in exchange for the hot air during the formation of the material and heat, the kiln feed end into the kiln system (preheated and collector), and finally by the chimney into the atmosphere.
